Part-time Organist/Choir Director Opening at First Congregational Church, Essex Junction:

Etna Baptist Church, Hanover Center, NH is looking for an organist/accompanist:

(Updated January 31, 2017 - SALARY INCREASE)
We are looking for a full time person who could play for choir rehearsal every Thursday evening from 7-8P as well as for the church service on Sunday mornings from 10-11A. The choir consists of nonprofessionals who gather for the love of singing from September through June accompanied by the piano. At present, we are looking for an organist/accompanist to assist our choir director. There is a quick run through of the choir anthem on Sunday mornings at 9:30A, just prior to the service. The organist would coordinate with the pastor for each Sunday's music selections.
The organ is an Estey pipe originally made in Brattleboro, VT that was recently refurbished (with the new dedication in 2010) by Bob Waters of Watersmith and is now automated by electronics.  The piano is a Yamaha, new in the last 5-6 years.
  The position basically covers the Etna Baptist Church in Hanover. Services in July and August are at the Hanover Center Church. Our organist typically has those two months off with vacation pay for one of the four week periods. There is an opportunity occasionally to fill in, with pay, for the person(s) who play at the summer church. The organ there is an old pedal type.

West Lebanon Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, in West Lebanon, NH

(listed November 23 2016) The church is looking for an experienced organist to play for a weekly Sunday morning service starting January 1.  The organist would also accompany the choir, but attendance at Tuesday evening choir rehearsal is not required.  The organist would rehearse with the choir on Sunday mornings at 9:30. The church has a Hutchings, Plaisted & Company tracker action pipe organ which has had lots of recent care!  Payment would be up to $150.00 per service, based on experience. Chancel Choir Director Position at First Baptist Church, Burlington:

(Listed June 16, 2016) The First Baptist Church (ABC-USA) in Burlington, Vt. is seeking an experienced choral director to conduct the 15 - 20 voice adult Chancel Choir for worship services on Sunday mornings and rehearsals on Thursday evenings. The position will begin in late August or early September.  The Chancel Choir sings for services beginning the Sunday after Labor Day continuing through mid-June with the summer off.   Salary is competitive and negotiable based on experience.
